Yeah, you can really tell when I'm out of ideas for titles. :XD: Anyway! This one's for ~EngelsMelodie who specifically asked me to upload more of my Doctor costume - so if you're all feeling sick of seeing it...you can all blame her! :XD:

Anyway, this was shot just before Christmas (at the same time as my little Christmas card) in the shortest photoshoot in all of history. It was so cold my camera refused to work for longer than about fifteen minutes. And that was after we warmed it up so it would switch on! It's probably a good thing - at least for me - or else we'd have a lot of photos of me shoveling snow while in costume (all while muttering "'It's just a bit of snow!' Jackie said. 'It'll only take a minute!'" to amuse myself :XD:).

Say how long do you have to prep for your Doctor costume? Cause I usually need about an hour to do hair, wig and make up then its about 20 minutes to get the costume how I like it.

Well, now I feel a bit embarrassed to admit it, but usually about forty minutes (although I once did it in twenty in a hotel restroom. :XD:). I have a feeling I probably put far less work into it than you do, though. I've sort-off given up on making myself look like David, so I just put on the same make-up I do for all my crossplays which is a bit of a routine after having done it so many times. ^^

Well I don't have the right hair type at all. I got about a yard of strawberry blonde hair, so that has to get tucked and tied under the dark brownish wig of mine. IT'S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE, I TELL YA! Then I can't ever go half way at all with a costume so I use spirit gum to glue on side burns too. Hard as heck to remove afterwards, yeesh! Sometimes I really envy brunettes.

You've got long hair too? :highfive: Mine's roughly a yard long as well! But as you can probably see, my hair's dark brown so at least I don't have to use make-up to get that bit to match... I have to admit I use my natural sideburns which, admittedly, really aren't impressive enough. I've wanted to umph them up a bit, especially since I already own all materials for it (due to my Flynn Rider costume), but ironically enough, my spirit gum bottle has glued itself shut. I can't even get it open with a wrench! :XD: I really need to pick up a new one, but I keep on forgetting to do so.

Well don't you have spirit gum remover too? I have like six bottle of that stuff, its too painful to get it all off without it. But the bottles are really small and that's why I have so much of it. I don't know what they have available in Sweden but here you can buy spirit gum and its remover in two packs at tons of party supply stores. I'd send you a bottle of remover just out of pity if you're not using it to clean up your face after cosplaying.

No, I have to admit I didn't bother getting any. For some reason, I never have any troubles getting the spirit gum off my face... But I'll try to wrench my bottle open again some time. It shouldn't be too impossible...I hope. :XD: Actually, I had to order my spirit gum online because it's really hard to get a hold of over here and no remover was included...

Just write "spirit gum and remover" next time you do a web search to shop for the stuff and you should get plenty of results come up.

Haha I dont mind if people come blaming me (but so far no one did) because this would be totally worth it.

You look awesome. But be careful with the snow. I don't want it to eat you or anything ;)
